Date: 6 June 2010

Location: Sterling, CO - Anton, CO

Chase Partner: Solo

Summary: Started out the day near Fort Morgan on the first day of a string of potential really great chase days in Eastern, CO.   Storms began to fire near Briggsdale and tracked ESE.   I intercepted the storm near New Raymer and tracked it toward Sterling.   It went TOR warned, however it never really got its act together.   I encountered was some nickel sized hail.    More storms began to fire to the south near Brush and Fort Morgan.   I headed south and then back, on some of Colorado's finest back roads, west toward Akron to intercept an HP cell that reportedly put down a tornado to the south of Ft. Morgan.   I continued south on Hwy 63 about half way to Anton.   Another storm went TOR warned and had a brief rotating wall cloud.   I never saw anything that resembled a tornado, but I talked with another chaser that said he saw rotation on the ground.   I rewatched my video numerous times and there is nothing that looks like a tornado, IMO.   I continued south to Anton and then west of town and shot some lightning images.
