Summary: We got into Indiana Harbor on what turned out to be a high risk day in the southern states, especially Arkansas. IL had a TOR watch up and since I had time I thought it would be a good shakedown chase to test all of the new gear and programs before the main chase season began. I intercepted a storm near Lostant, IL. As soon as it made its approach it went SVR and it put out quite a few nice bolts of lightning. I shot some time exposures for about 5 minutes before the rain came and sent me back into the truck. I wasn't expecting much, but am pretty happy with what I got!
