Date: 5 June 2006

Location: Eastern, CO from Cope, CO to Kit Carson, CO

Chase Partner: Fred the F5

Summary:  Left Denver later than originally planned because of having to get a nail pulled from a tire for the 2nd time this week.   Yippee.  Headed for Colby, KS and spent most of the day til initiation in Nebraska and then headed toward Trenton, NE.    As I approached Trenton a storm fired near Sterling, CO and went TOR and then I made the decision to haul to it.   A 2nd storm fired on its flank near Yuma and decided to target that one as the one near Sterling looked to be bowing out.   After getting to Cope I headed south.  Chased this to Kit Carson.  It went TOR, but never really became surface based.   It was actually a fun chase considering the lack of moisture really made these high based storms.
