Date: 15 June 2005

Location: Sublette to Kismet, KS

Chase Partner: Fred the F5

Summary:  Basically just went to chase a storm.   Started the day near Lamar, CO and somehow disconnected the WxWorx from the USB port and missed an hour of radar and data.    Storms started firing in Kansas and towers were going up near Lamar.   Decided to hang in Lamar for longer than I should have.   Ended up going to KS when the storm there started taking on a really good signature on the radar.    Went TOR about half way to it.   Finally caught it near Sublette and chased the back side to just NW of Kismet, KS.    After arriving there the sky was really doing some very strange things I had never seen before.    There were tubes of horizontal condensation that went on for what seemed a couple miles.   It was really interesting to see.    I must have watched that for about 15 minutes.
